Current Active Members and their Cars

Marc and Lia Sova's 74

One of the few 74 cars around with the unique bumpers, Marc just acquired this car from some good information from long time fiat owner Jon Logan. Extremely solid car with no rust and 99% complete and correct, this car should make a great restoration project. Marc and Lia are accomplished artists, and we are hoping that they will be able to lend their skills to making a mural for MOFLO. OK Marc, lets get first gear working and get the ready for the wine run.

 Ken Wood's Yugo

Here is a 1988 GV well traveled Yugo with over 140,000 miles on its odometer. This car is Ken's long term daily driver. The car shows years of good care and maintenance. While in the service, Ken, a long time member and contributor to Mira, shipped the car to Korea where he was stationed. There it acquired it's striking red paint job. Currently the car has the original fire breathing 1100cc engine in place, but there is a 1500 prepped and waiting to go into the engine bay.

Rick and Taylor Wilson's 73

Another unique color on a small bumper car, this spider is destined to be a Father / Son restoration project. This is Rick's first Fiat and he gets high marks for choosing a spider for this project. The car is in extremely good shape and should prove to be a fun and rewarding project. Save the small bumper cars!!!

Dan and Libby Chiaradonna's
67 Lancia

One of three Lancia's in the family stable, this one is the oldest and rarest. This Fulvia Rally Coupe is powered by a 1.3L SOHC, FWD V-4 engine, it is a unique and desirable acquisition. With only 50,000 miles on the clock it is almost completely original (paint is new) and in beautiful condition. Dan brought it out to the Fall Color Cruise because he said "that it was time for the car to stretch it's legs." And stretch them it did.

Steve and Melinda Wood's 75

A veteran of three of the four MOFLO's including the very first one. This year the spider carried Steve to Freak Out. We enjoyed hearing all about the event. Especially about how well some of the cars from MOFLO did. This spider also had the honor of bringing Steve's new bride Melinda home after they were married this May. Steve volunteered to chef the event and did a great job at the Barbecue!

 Kris Dickson's 76
With only about 1,00 miles on his newly restored spider, Kris's car still looks fresh. Sporting a new stereo complete with subwoofer and some fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror, the car is a study of mixed cultures. At 16 Kris is the youngest owner, but he has been riding in Fiats since he was born. Ken and Karen Dickson's 71
Host of the event, Red benefited from some needed paint touch up. He has been patiently waiting for his owner to get that new respray that he has been talking about for the past two years. In the meantime he is enjoying his new home and friends.

Dean and Carolyn Wieneke's
72 Spider

Congratulations on their new son Jack. This spider is a veteran of MOFLO and has been in the family for about six years. This spider has all the "neat" stuff including a louvered hood, airdam, panasoprts, rollbar, and dual DCNFs on a trick Alquati manifold. Deano brought the car out for a quick run on the Fall Color Cruise up to Pere Marquette. Though his daily driver is his new Honda 2000, he still enjoys getting the Fiat out for a run.

Mike's Lancia
Mike and Shelia Sizemore

This beautiful Lancia belongs to iCar colectors Mike and Sheila Sizemore from Springfield, Illinois. They have 850 Spiders, an 850 Racer, X 1/9 race car, Alfa GTV, Autobianchi A112, Cagiva and Gilera Italian motorcycles, and a 1940 Hudson Country Club Eight to round out the herd. Mike and Shelia attended the Collinsville Italian Fest in 06 and brought this car to the event.

JerremyJeremy and Ketrill Blanton's
76 Spider

Fresh from it's trip home from Shawn Folkert's GarageMahal in Pennsylvania where he and Ketrill had a two day adventure in an untried car, Jeremy brought the car out for the fall 07 cruise. The car behaved beautifully both times and we're glad he found us. We're looking forward to many more cruises and news from the Blantons and their new spider.

Jim
Jim Decker's 78 X-19

The group's first X19 belongs to Jim Decker. Jim brought both of his black X-19s to the 07 fall cruise. This one is his 1978 car. At one time he had three Xs. This one is a rust free CA car with a rare saratoga top that he had shipped to the midwest from California about three years ago. The original white interior is in great condition and Jim is currently looking for a shop to work on some exterior paint issues. The car shows well. Jim also made the trip out the the Oct. 27 picnic and we enjoyed meeting him for the first time and discussing Fiats in general and Xs in detail.

Jim4Christopher Schaeffer's
Ride

Actually is Jim Decker's 86 X-19 that needed it's legs stretched a bit. It's hard to see those nice Daytona Chromodora wheels on the four corners. Chris has an X at home that wasn't road worthy in time for the fall outing. We understand that he is currently working on locating the parts that he needs to get the car up and running for next season. We all know that putting these neat little cars back on the road is almost as much fun as driving them. We're looking forward to hearing and helping Chris get his car ready for the next flostl outing.

Alan
Alan Taxman's 76 Spider

Alan's first FLOSTL event was the October 07 fall cruise. We're glad he found the group. We needed a non-red spider among us. Alan has some pictures and the story of his car here. Alan has had this car for about two years, and is thinking about moving over to an X-19. His blog also has some thumbnails of the October 07 outing.
